 We are tremendously excited to bring you the latest news, information and plans from the world of The Marion Park District. It is our intention to provide an informational and entertaining site that will be maintained at the same level of quality and commitment that has become synonymous with the Marion Park District and the city of Marion, Illinois. As with all of our successes this site is the result of a collaborative effort between our park district board, the commissioners, staff and interested citizens of Marion.



Marion Park District is now taking applications for seasonal pool employees. We will be accepting applications for lifeguards and concession workers. Deadline to apply is Saturday, March 5. Please complete this online application.

Lifeguard applicants must be: 16 years old or older, possess or be able to obtain Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and AED, pass a drug test and background check, able to interact with the public in a courteous manner, safety conscious, and able to follow rules and directions from a supervisor.
